SEND & Inclusion
Create Pathways CIC is committed to providing inclusive opportunities for all children and young people.
We aim to create safe, supportive environments where individuals feel welcomed, respected and encouraged to participate regardless of their abilities or background.
Our programmes are designed to be inclusive and accessible, allowing participants to develop confidence, skills and positive experiences through creativity, education, fitness and wellbeing activities.
Supporting Children with Additional Needs
We recognise that some children and young people may require additional support to fully engage in activities.
Our programmes may support individuals with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) including:
• Autism
• ADHD
• Learning differences
• Social, emotional or behavioural needs
• Anxiety or low confidence within group settings
Where possible, we aim to adapt activities to ensure that children feel supported and able to participate comfortably.
Inclusive Approach
Create Pathways CIC aims to ensure that activities are delivered in ways that promote inclusion and participation.
This may include:
• Adapting activities to suit different abilities
• Providing additional guidance or encouragement where needed
• Creating supportive and calm learning environments
• Encouraging positive social interaction and teamwork
• Ensuring children feel valued and included
Working with Schools and Families
We work collaboratively with schools, SENCOs, parents and carers to ensure that children receive the support they need to participate successfully in our programmes.
By maintaining open communication with families and school staff, we aim to provide positive and supportive experiences for all participants.
Our Aim
Our aim is to ensure that every child has the opportunity to take part in activities that help them develop confidence, build friendships and enjoy positive experiences in a supportive environment.
